Where are you on the spectrum of the grief cycle this lockdown 2.0?

Denial, Anger, Depression, Bargaining or Acceptance?

Acceptance certainly helps us gain control and focus on what we CAN control. And to let go of what we cannot.

This is a temporary state …. although it certainly doesn’t feel like it sometimes.

This morning, I found myself saying "I wish Corona would just bugger off". I didn’t feel like getting out of bed. But I got up, went for a walk, and watched the sunrise.

I let myself feel the emotions and just keep going.

We live in the one of the most beautiful parts of the world. And thankfully nature isn’t locked out to us. Get outside and spend as much time as you can (of your allocated hour). Get your dose of Vitamin N (for Nature). Exercise and vitamin D (from sunlight) are essential for humans to stay mentally and physically well.

Feel the sun on your skin, breathe in deeply and keep going. If you feel like you can’t keep going, please reach out. There is support.

Contact a helpline today. Or please see your GP. We might be in lockdown, but essential services such as medical care are still open.
